OT Buffett clip

Family visiting from out of state but I finally had a chance to get new version Media Player installed and working. Yes, I'd say the short clip at search.msn.com
did add some insight. Though only a minute long he noted that the DJIA was stagnant for a 17 year period from 1964-1981 while the economy grew and that the stock market frequently "overshoots" on the upside and downside and may be out of synch with the economy for long periods of time. It is interesting that Brokaw paraphrased Buffett as saying that small investors may want to "sit with it for awhile" or buy an index fund, while another news report indicated that Buffett had stated small investors may want to "sit it out". When Buffett talks I know just what he is saying but I will simply not trust the news media to report it accurately with the possible exception of the NY Times, WSJ and Barrons. I have a very small position in BRKB and have never seen it move as much in one day as it did today. (down >6% I think)
