Yes, I did say that.

I don't consider it murky speak though. If I say "a" bottom, that simply means that I consider the prevailing trend to still be down and that we will see a lower low. Many called the Sept 21 bottom "the" bottom. I may even have been one of them for a week or two. Now we know that it was just "a" bottom. It is my intention to go long on either "a" bottom or "the" bottom. With "the" bottom, I won't be looking for my next short though. With "a" bottom, I will be looking for my next short.

lizzie lizzie--relax---nobody can predict a top or a bottom--until its been made--there are some very smart people on these threads--and from what i've seen -they have made a lot of very good calls but they all have made terrible calls as well--
you have to go with your own instincts --i myself am trying to buy some stocks thatlook good for a bounce--but from what i look at--there is a lot of work to be done before we make a bottom
