To my knowledge, CYTC has no new products but I consider their failure to convince the powers to be that it was appropriate for their merger with Digene to NOT go through was a blessing in disguise. CYTC is debt free, they ABSOLUTELY own their market, and they are sitting on a ton of cash as a direct result on the merger NOT going through. They will NOT have any competition for approximately two years IF EVEN THEN and there is no certainty they will have competition to compete with their POWER POSITION for quite a while. Also, their margins are and, imo, for the foreseeable future will continue to be truly outstanding. Many might even consider them outrageous or perhaps unbelievable for their "standard of care" position in providing an essential women's screening process that is replacing the conventional pap smear.
