Searle,
War with Iraq is almost certain. Same as the pipeline strategy in Afghanistan. The US must control as much of the world's energy as possible to back our debt. The 6 trill gov, the 12 trill Social Security etc. The Privateer puts out a good read to that effect. It's copywrited or I would post.
How are Ya?,
Tom

That was a miscue at the end of a long evening, however if world deflation got out of hand it is entirely possible everything could fall together. More likely we'll see a return to $350 an oz where countries will be glad to stabilize the POG for peace-of-mind's sake.

Gold down, and stock indices looking to be up. I bet the XAU gets massacred again.

Greenspan did say it was all getting irrational way back when. If he rigged the gold market he was a fool, since that did contribute to the bubble.

One more comment about gold...there is nothing that says gold can't have a sudden spike of $50 to $80 in a day. Given how panicky things are getting, could happen.
