<Is a crunch a few notches below a collapse?>

Stock market states:

Irrational Exuberance
Exuberance
Wishful thinking
Hope
Ommmmmmm
Glitch
Crunch
Collapse
Pandemonium

We have had glitch and are now in crunch.

PS: There is a level below Pandemonium called Chaos, but we civilized westerners* don't enter that realm. It's too ungenteel. The tablecloth gets messy for a start. The tea gets saucered. Completely unacceptable. I don't expect we will leave the realm of 'crunch' [downwards]. However, as the Scouts say, "Be Prepared", so I'm reasonably ready, just in case.

* I have never been sure exactly where 'west' and 'east' start and finish, but I consider myself to be very genteel [though some of those whacking golf clubs into the earth at the Golf Club and cursing don't exhibit the correct style of whacking and swearing; the correct style was demonstrated by Eldrick Woods when failing to win the Grand Slam].

<Now do you see what I meant about watching the carnage through the rifle scope?>

Jay, I always consider myself as being the one doing the watching, even when standing bare-chested out on the field of battle, drawing fire to see where the tasty morsels are hiding. They are so surprised when they find they were firing at a hologram, powered by phragmented photons in cdma2000 synchronicity. They are even more surprised when said mirage appears for real behind them.

Still no Aztec Au, but did you see the queue for the Chinese version of Japan's Au? Message 17772698 You might have seen the crowds and mistaken them for a revolution being fomented. Well, it was in a way, but not of the 'let's overthrow Hu Jintao' kind.

Jay, Fred explains why the Israeli soldiers might have sold some ammunition to the Palestinians: fredoneverything.net

A timely spiel with the Matrix of Malevolence burgeoning.

The latest Israeli attack on the boss of Hamas and those surrounding him [literally] will give them something to think about.

The ants are fighting over cheese at Gibraltar, across the Straits by Morocco, in Jerusalem, over the water between China and Taiwan. It's an ugly sight.
