To be truthful, I have stretched my upgrade cycle from 12-18 months before to 24-30 months. China aims to make USD 500 PCs with domestic Intel compatible chip. Chugs, Jay P.S. price difference between generic and branded is small that I tend to go for branded. Using Gateway now, @ 1.2 Ghz.
