Israel obviously would have preferred to have taken out the head terrorist without any civilian casualties.

This is in sharp contrast to the dead terrorist, who intentionally targeted civilians during several hundred attacks. He also was responsible for sending hundreds of other Palestinian people's children to their deaths.

Your singling out this event belies your prejudices.

F-16 provided by the US Congress! If Iran is to be held responsible for attempting to arm the Palestinians, shouldn't America be held accountable for arming these Israeli war criminals.

Israel's terrorism against innocent Israeli civilians and children is identical to the Islamic suicide bombers except in one important detail: the Islamic organizations that support suicide bombers are fringe groups in Palestine, but Israel's F-16 terrorism is official state terrorism condoned by 80% of the Jewish population of Israel and America.

I wonder just who is terrrorizing who

It is hard to tell one explosion from another. It's also hard to tell Bush's explanation of "Oops" when a wedding party is bombed in Afganistan to Arafat's explanation of "Oops" when Hammas blows up a cafe. None of these so called wars on terror will be won by intensifying the terror, eventually accords- not secret deals, will need to be discussed and desired.

One question, has Israel confirmed that an F-16 was used?

Rich,
I don't remember you commenting on the last Palestinian murder/suicide bombing where several women and children were not only killed but purposely targeted. Hamas has indicated that they intend to kill Israeli babies. The Israelis have said that they regret any innocent lives were lost and that they thought the murderer was alone in his apartment. It's very interesting how all you liberals are outraged when Israel retaliates to terrorism but have nothing to say about the baby bombing Palestinians.

Unfortunate about the women and children but pretty damned impressive about the Hamas operative. Israel knows how to get the job done. Bush should watch and learn.
