O/T AA, that's cool. I've got 2-cornets and a trumpet. I haven't played in 20-years because although I was good, I had to work at it, and it took too much time. I have a friend who could go a month without playing, pick up the horn and just scream for an hour. He made me puke, but I kept up with him most of the time.

A couple of us guys used to whale and call each other Maynard (you know what that is) when we'd hit those nice high clear notes and hold them out (no pinching allowed).

My old high school's band is in the top 5 in the country now. They win all kinds of awards and stuff, but we had horns that could whale. We had at least 8 guys on the trumpet line who could have played professionally (many did). My older bro (2-years older than me) wasn't that great on his horn, but he did some back-up gigs for some concerts when he was in college (BJ Thomas is one I remember).

Anyway, you kind of have me missing hearing some "Chase". You may know they all died in a plane crash in the 70's, and they could scream like nobody's business.

Anyway, most of the guys I hung with who played had fun, but we were really into playing sports more.

As for the guitar, that's cool, but plug that sucker in at all costs!
