Interesting story in today's print edition of Wall Street Journal about homebuilder Del Webb downsizing homes and locating them near metro areas to address the needs of retirees whose pension funds have declined and will need to keep working or go back to work.

Because the older person's best chance of a job is in a metro area, this "precludes the possibility of cashing out of a greatly appreciated metro-area home and moving to a place where homes are cheaper," the story says.
