You laugh but I know a lot of people who have bought those home warranties. I even know someone who wanted a new more yupped up six burner stove, so she had her repair guy screw the old one up so she get part of the money for the new one from the insurance payout. Got insurance fraud? This is a person who wants all those crooked CEOs to go to jail... typical hypocrite, being honest is something that someone else is suppose to be in regards to them.

those bankers sure have using OPM to protect their investment whittled down to a fine art...

You just call your mortgage servicer if your (bank-owned) roof leaks. It's almost like renting.
