NO Doug you are missing the real crime was going on under Reagan with Milken and Boesky and the RTC scandals this is all his fault

Surprisingly, I agree on most of your points, except your clever attempt at bailing Bush out. He had a negative effect as early as March 2000 (at that time he appeared to be a sure winner). He was openly critical of the Economy and markets then, and again early on after Inauguration in order to get his Huge Misguided Tax Cut passed.
