last winter I posted an interview with the head
economics professor of the Rio de Janeiro
university.

Brain damage is worse than brain drain, he said.

It was bad enough to see young people go to the U.S.
to study economics but the real horror started when
they came back home and proceeded to crash one Latin
American economy after the next.
