The price to sales ratio on UAL (United Airlines) is 0.02. Looks like the market is expecting Chapter 11 at some point. Last year the CEO was ousted for predicting that if things didn't get better they would go bankrupt.

The last 15 roundtrip tickets I have bought (for myself and various family members) for flights from Chicago to the West Coast have all been under $200 roundtrip(including taxes and security fees). The airline's take on that is around $150, or about 23 cents per mile.

I don't see how they can avoid Chapter 11 at this point either.
