Last minute changes in plan are usually last minute for a reason. Re: "Also the HT link on Clawhammer is 16 bits, not the 8 bits someone claimed (Opteron has 3)." AMD's slides from the Platform Conference show a slide of Clawhammer with one 16-bit HT link in a UP configuration, and another slide with Clawhammer and two 8-bit links for a DP configuration. Apparently, the single link can be split up into two links of half width. wbmw
