Do you mean buying for a wiggle? We still need our high volume selling days, our "90% days," and we haven't gotten them yet. Until we have that, we don't have our capitulation. Gold miners sure took a hit today, so that's a start in the right direction to some degree. As for Maria and her ilk, I might be in a minority, but I don't fade others or use them as contrary indicators, regardless of their track record. The charts usually tell the tale for me, regardless of others tales.
