I just found it striking that the internment of the Japanese was mentioned but not the Holocaust or the Japanese atrocities in Asia. I mean, if you had to mention only two or three things that were bad about 50 years ago, the Japanese internment thing would only make most lists if you were confining the answer to America.

It is indeed a long list.

I would think that of the things happening in the world today, one of the ones that might make future lists is the teaching of religious hatred in many societies, and the awful consequences of that when it permeates entire cultures.
