LOUIS, MO - August 1, 2001 - Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the world’s leading provider of CRM, billing, order management and directory systems solutions to the communications and IP industry, announced today that it has signed a multi-year license and services agreement with Verizon Information Services (VIS), a world-leading print and online directory publisher and content provider for communications products and services. Based on the ADSNG/Family Of Products, Amdocs will provide VIS with a single, consolidated solution to support all critical systems activities across the Verizon territory, including the former GTE and Bell Atlantic markets. Under the multi-year license and services agreement, Amdocs will provide VIS with a consolidated solution for its yellow pages, white pages and electronic products, which serve approximately 1.8 million business customers. The agreement involves Amdocs and VIS partnering for the development and maintenance of multiple solutions, including a single core business system and CRM applications such as Contract Management, Listing Management, Market Management and Customer Service Management. “Amdocs’ proven capabilities in working with both GTE and Bell Atlantic prior to the merger were instrumental in our decision to choose them as our main systems provider,” said Dave Landry, CIO and Group Vice President Information Technology at Verizon Information Services. “We required a solution that could serve as a platform for technology innovation, allowing us to consolidate existing systems into one. Over the duration of our agreement, we will continue to look to Amdocs for its industry knowledge and technical expertise as we further enhance our offerings and grow our business.” "This agreement is an example of Amdocs’ ability to establish and grow unique partnerships with tier one communications providers, such as Verizon,” said Paul Atkinson, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Amdocs. “Amdocs has had a leading presence in the communications and yellow pages business for 19 years, with an exceptional track record in project success.
