Ted, when they say a security yields 5% it means it gives a dividend or interest payment that is equal to 5% of the current price.

Of course dividends can always be cut or eliminated if the company continues to lose money.

As I've made clear for some time on this very thread, the only official wrongdoing with respect to Enron was by a Clinton Administration official:

Let's hope the conservatives bring this story to the very front and center of the debate, and shove it down the liberals' throats.
