They did get the military to vacate portions of the 3g spectrum which wireless broadband companies have been asking for for the past three years (1700-1900)

Everyone in the industry advised Rumsfeld in 2000 that he needed to act and act quickly in regard to 3g spectrum. He didn't, of course, because, he said, terrorism was top priority...the business of American (apparently) was secondary. Now that Japan and Europe have taken an early WCDMA market lead the Bush administration announces today the military will vacate portions of the desired spectrum by 2008.

They are about 1.5 years late on this.

Radio Free Europe helped bring down Communism. Radio Free Bush is helping bring down our markets.
