I was short 2 stocks and covered. I NEVER short so its as contrarian as anything. I was thinking... well, I've covered which implies the MOAC tomorrow. Then I read Maria B said to short... all was well then <gg>

LOW (Lowes) - who I have nothing against really, I just think HD ROCKS.

Computer Associates Tones Down Fighting Words In Proxy

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Computer Associates International Inc. on Tuesday amended its proxy filing to tone down - slightly - the combative language it's using against dissident shareholder Sam Wyly.

Wyly's Ranger Governance Ltd. has been waging a contentious battle to place five candidates on Computer Associates' 11-member board at the annual shareholder meeting scheduled for Aug. 28 .

Computer Associates also changed references to the dissident shareholder from "Wyly" to "Mr. Wyly."

Looking at pure technicals, look at the NPSP rally off the 50 day here. Intraday volume is very heavy, too. Looks like second-highest daily volume already in over a year.
