It's a long, difficult process. Indictments take months. Trials and appeals take longer. Then some of them invariably skate. In the meantime, better solutions will have to take effect, and the markets will have to move on.

Much as I'd like to see some lynchings-if they didn't hang Clinton, there won't be any ropes for these clowns...

What would the Lou Gehrig of investing be doing in a market like this? That is what Warren Buffet called the legendary Philip Carret (ca-RAY), who started the Pioneer Mutual Fund in 1924. Buffet said that "Philip Carret has the best truly long-term investment record of anyone I know".

Carret lived thru 32 bull markets, 31 bear markets, 20 recessions and a depression until his death in 1999 at the age of 101.

In times like these, Carret would say no different. Just keep it simple. Now is the time, if there ever was a time, to invest for the long term. Buy stock in companies you understand. Most important, look for good, committed management. Look for management that have conviction and believe in what they are doing. Watch and stay away from the fatal flaw in executives of major corporations: arrogance.

Carret's long term market outlook: "I'm always Bullish". The U.S., if you take a broad historical view, probably has another century or two to go before it goes into the decline that every great empire has suffered.

Sage words from the legend who knows and very Buffet-like buy low when the herd hates stocks and sell dear when the herd loves stocks.

Just like the nyse members billion share mass accumulation since February.

Regular Series: 100% Long NDX OTC
Dynamic Series: 100% Long SPX TITAN
