The Deer Hunter Remember that movie? Remember that scene where the americans are being held captive by the VC and being made to play russian roulette? Remember when De Niro's character encouraged the VC to put more bullets in the gun, thus increasing the chance that the Americans lost, but giving them enough bullets to kill their enemy? That is the way trading has been for me lately. Waiting and waiting to let the trades work as planned. But, I have been one heck of a scared trader lately. Being a position trader, every morning brings with it a special adrenaline rush. Daytraders have it easy:-) Anyway, I stopped short of the 4 bullets that DeNiro put in the gun. I suspect that my trades would have worked out to be even more profitable, but I just didn't feel like putting that gun to my head with 4 bullets in the revolver and hoping that the first couple of pulls were on an empty chamber. On the long side, I am going to wait until the revolver has the 4 bullets in it. That 4th bullet is capitulation. mau mau MAU!!!
