I for one would prefer to see Dow 6315 on a final drop. That would make the 3800 target a bit closer in reach. 6933 is also a support level below 7400. As outrageous as it sounds, the target of around 7000, the late 1997 lows, has a special appeal for me. That would allow for a .382 retracement (vis a vis Mar/02 high) back to the 8350-8450 level -- the putative neckline. 7000 would also test the big line connecting the Dow lows off the all-time Dow high Banks ain't done. MSFT ain't done. And you are right Master Velo, IBM ain't done (that chit it's been doin' is sooo corrective). PG and MMM probably have another leg in them. You get the idea.

Forgot the other thing that is appealing about Dow 7000: it would test the big line connecting the Dow lows off the all-time Dow high. Niiiice.

<we could visit 6000's> Upper end (6900ish?)? AA on CFZEW sees a possible iii of 3 here (ended this morn?)..if count is so, are you talking about the v of 3 getting into 6000's or would it be the later 5?
