LOL.... these practices have recently been sharply curtailed by an agreement within the industry (no more golf games, tanks of gasoline, or other compensation for a call, no more expensive gifts, spouses/friends attending conferences, etc). I'm sure that there are reps who will try to find their way around the new regs, but that will likely taper off over time. The thought was that these practices were of borderline ethicality, and although they ensured participation among docs, they didn't necessarily generate results.

Don't worry... teddy bears, cup holders, and pens are still OK. And I forsee a bull market in sample distribution. -g-

You know, from the visits to my Dr's office over the last few years, an from getting a Biaxin pen from a Dentist's office, I do know the name Biaxin but I sure don't know what it's for.
