Well, I still can't get some people to sell. I told a guy at work to sell at 2200 last year (I was just starting to learn). He didn't. I mentioned it at 2100 COMP in January. He didn't. I mentioned it at 1595 COMP (I thought he'd sold already, so that's the reason for the lapse) He said he would, but he didn't. I mentioned it at 1475. He didn't. He said he was waiting for it to get back to 1595. I mentioned it at COMP 1375, and he said he would. He didn't, as he wanted to wait for 1475. I mentioned it at COMP 1350, he didn't.

I asked yesterday when he was going to sell, he said he's lost too much and he's just going to wait for it to come back. It has to come back.

That's what I keep hearing - It has to come back, especially from those a ways away from retirement.

Justa,
I've spoke to quite a few noninvesting average Joe individuals in a casual way to get their feelings about the market. Their typical response. I would be scared to put money in the market now. Much different than a couple years ago or even a year ago when they said, "It'll come back". Capitulation.

OT/Justa. Spot on.

BTW....last time he called it quits after the 1st big melt down in PGO? The hiatus lasted all of 24 hours:-)).

A tip of the virtual hat to you. You've hit the mother lode of great contrary indicator threads.

Till now, there were only a few of us using it for anecdotal sentiment, during the past 15 months.
