Looks like I missed the early fireworks by sleeping in this am - stayed up and watched one of my NETFLIX movies last night. "AI" was kind of stupid.

Well didn't entirely missed the open. CYMI stopped out leaving my trading port at 100% cash.

Am I the penultimate contrary indicator once again??

The gold equities take it on the chin just like everything else when the market gets to panic levels. Bullion, not the equities, is what is inversely correlated with the market. Recent drop in gold bullion coincides with dollar strength. I think the buck will fall to 93-95 within 6 months (index) and it that situation gold and gold equities should retest their highs.

But my NEM, ABX buys today were just buys on oversold conditions - if a rally really develops I think dabum is right and the SOX leads the market.

I liked how gold was acting this am, but I like it less now and cut my NEM position - I rotated it into some OS names. Will probably sell ABX into any strength.

40% long at the moment, the rest parked in DUK, ED.

Ciao,
Josh.
