Sam, I didnt mean to imply that stagflation=depression. I just dont buy into the 16 year stuff at all. My guess is that we are secularly neutral as the positive demographics have been neutralized by new boomer caution and loss of wealth for the young. We should be moving up though cyclically because interest rate environment and better business are closer each day. I have been saying that for a year but i guess its true on each day i say it. mike
