OT ... When it comes to publishing diluted shares as "in the money, vested" [edit:...] Go look in the 10-K and read the footnotes. Go look at the table of options outstanding. And look at the difference between number of shares outstanding and fully diluted shares. And compare that to the amount of options disclosed.

John, you are mistaken. In-the-money options are counted whether they are vested or not.

Take a look at QCOM FY1999 and FY2000 10-Ks. There were 83M additional dilutions shares used in calculating diluted earnings for FY2000 .. but there were only 36M and 49M shares vested (exercisable) at the beginning and end of that period.

Pretty difficult to get 83M dilution shares from 36M or 49M exercisable shares, don't you think?
