Whoa! You have the quote fragment way out of context.

it's not possible to understand all of evolutionary theories

I said that the subject matter was big enough that it cannot be boiled down to a trite statement. I most emphaticly did not say that it is beyond comprehension. it is intellectually dishonest to completely change my statements to make it easier for you to complain about them.

Extending some simple example of photo-sensitivity to a complete eye with a focusing lens

I will repeat the concept that you so much tried to avoid. Evolution does not proceed in a single step from a photo-sensative cell to a complete eye. If you had read the link I provided you would have seen that there are many current examples of photo receptive organs of varying complexity all of which provide sufficient advantage to the creature possesing it to enhance survival. Of course the creatures currently providing models are not the same ones from which the eyes of the world evolved, those creatures are for the most part long extinct.

If the human eye were designed it would most likely be more like the eye of a squid. Human eyes have a blind spot because of the way the optic nerve is connected to the receptors. A squid eye evolved from a differnet source and does not have this defect since the squids nerve connects from the back of the eye instead of the inside.
