For some reason I am not too crazy about the over-simplifications that I hear from people, which is that the bear market is caused by fraud of the worst executives. We would have been in this bear market with or without Enron, WorldComm or Adelphia.

Joe, I don't disagree but to suggest that the issue of fraud has not seriously exacerbated an already precarious situation is understating its impact IMO.

Joe, now, I am reading that Andy Grove of Intel and S. McNealy of SUNW are having trouble signing off on their audits. That's garbage.....they are trying to get the law modified.

If you hold those stocks, it may be time to sell them......along with TYC.
