Unfortunately any advance without the SOX above 343 is doomed to fail in my opinion. Everything was lined up for the technical bounce we got today. Now the big boys must step in and buy with both fists if this rally is to last. The SOX has to get back above 343 to extend this technical oversold rally any higher.

We are fading now as I edit this post.

Market Laggards
Among the notable names being left out of today's rally are Eli Lilly (LLY 47.65 -1.03) and America Online (AOL 10.70 -0.85). The Semiconductor Equipment group as a whole also is a laggard. Downside standouts include CCMP (-3.9%), VSEA (-9.3%), NVLS (-2.2%), KLAC (-1.6%)... The SOX is sitting on a 0.6% loss for the session, after yesterday taking out its 52-wk low.
