If we're so lucky as to see the naz down hard this afternoon, I'll be buying into the close.

EP volume going to 4x normal for the second day in a row - if it gets dragged along with the other utes I'll take that as a bullish sign, if it cont. to diverge downward I'll wait.

Utes are % leaders today, how many times have you seen that happen? The markets are turned upside down.

Amazing performance by REI today (down 40%) on a big up day for the utilities. No hard news (the investigation of sham trades is old news) so a really horrible earnings report and CC must be expected tomorrow. This company has TTM revenues of 41B and a market cap of approx 1.5B so it is selling for approx two weeks sales.

Is it all fake revenue and phony accounting and the weight of huge debt? I guess we will find out tomorrow. Never have held it but it is tempting if it looks like a survivor. I think the market is expecting that the dividend is officially kaput tomorrow.

jim, I sort of follow the action about and am real interested in PGO here. Looks to me like it could have finally bottomed.

What do ya think? You've been following it for a long time.

Worth a little spec money? The old adage about buying em cheap has got me piqued.

TIA!
