jdsu yes but I am more skeptical about GLW. The impetus to deploy more glass in the network is falling....at least the long haul network. Also with CATV rebuilds slowed, with the CATV companies in the dumper, the pressure on optical cable is extreme. The ILECs are still betting on their copper plant for the last mile. With pressure to be profitable IMHO this will be the status quo for sometime.

At least with a LU or JDSU or NT they have the wireless market and the end equipment market. Most likely folks will upgrading their Cell sites and lighting up existing dark fiber until that runs out. With DWDM getting cheaper and ATM making more efficient use of the transport the amount of glass should last for a while.
