I met him in the mid 90s when he gave a talk to my graduate school class up in Ann Arbor (btw, the Dean was in a suit when he introduced Sam who was dressed in jeans, cowboy boots, and a leather jacket)...He's always been quite a contrarian investor and a rebel at times too...=) regards, -Scott
