It's not a bad idea for women to be armed. It was about 15 years ago I met a pretty young SMU coed while she was working as a summer intern. After the summer she went back to school. One night she called her boyfriend to tell him she thought someone was trying to get inside. He told her to call the police and he was on his way over. The police were there when he arrived and she had been stabbed to death. They never found the killer.
