Ed, You might be a little harsh on yourselves. I'd prefer a coalition of western civilization, including Mother Russia these days, aligned with Buddhist-Confucianist Asia, to progress toward peace and prosperity, even if we have to kick some ass in the Mideast to get it done properly. Non muslim Africa will probably be a basket case for the foreseeable future (measured in centuries), and South America will only have limited success because of the Hispano-Luso mercantilist baggage they inherited and can't seem to shake. As for Les Terres de Terrorisme, if they can't play properly with their schoolmates, I'm happy to shun them in perpetuity. Just barter goods for oil at the border. Kb
