The US recognized that Soviet control of the Middle East oil would be catastrophic, so they aligned themselves with Israel which was and is the only dependable ally and Democratic country in the region. Actually, the US didn't really ally itself with Israel until after the 1967 war. We didn't supply Israel with any arms before that. The Israelis fought that war with French jets. After 1967, Israel not only looked like a stronger ally, but the Arabs convinced themselves, falsely, that they had only lost the war because the US had helped Israel. Thus they became hostile to us. This helped propel us into alliance with Israel.

Now the Zionist Jews needed to fight the British in order to cancel the prescriptions and restrictions of the original mandate. Using their Communist Jewish comrades in Russia the Zionist establhsed terrorist cells to fight the British. Ben Gurion, Begin and Shamir were all leaders in these Zionist cells. After WWII the Zionist and Communist Jews began playing America against Russia to begin to get aid and support from America. The Mossad motto: "BY DECEPTION WE WILL MAIKE WAR"
