stocks lead the economy -- and the economy is falling off a cliff for real this time -- only a sideshow like invasion of Iraq could possibly mask that now -- which I give probably a 50/50 shot. It'll be a question of timing ... Folks have not given up -- we haven't had real capitulation where folks just sell and make no distinction ... it's still coming and soon, IMO. this will certainly produce a higher high by a wide margin in the VIX and VXN
