The Palestinian territories have been infiltrated by, and are controlled by thousands of Arab terrorists. Why in the world do you want to create such a terrorist state, which could be far worse than Iran or Iraq? I guess the big reason is one of principle. One would like to see the Palestinians root out this evil on their own. One would like to see the region move forward out of the dark ages into the 21st century. Do the Palestinians have a right to their own country? I would answer that question with a yes and add that it's unfortunate that this country wasn't created 54 years ago. I'm not so naive to believe that creating a new country will solve every issue but it will be a step in the right direction.
