Yep...Soros has a great big chunk of it, too.

In looking at institutional holdings, it's interesting that Fido has as much in miners, especially Fido Contra (which is beating the S&P handily this year). They're HUGE in GoldCorpse (probably have been bailing recently, which is why the stock's been under so much pressure, but that's just a theory).

From the Washington Post..

>>Wall Street had one its strongest days ever today as the Dow Jones industrial average recovered from a 170 point morning slump to gain almost 489 points--its second biggest point gain ever.

The Dow's 6 percent gain brought the index up to 8,166.58. The Standard & Poors 500 stock index was up 5.3 percent, climbing 42.46 to 840.16. The Nasdaq Stock Market composite index picked up 4.1 percent, closing at 1,279.16, up 50.11.

The New York Stock Exchange estimated the volume to be the biggest in history--2.7 billion shares.

The unexpected rebound left investors wondering whether Wall Street's long slide may finally be ending and had marketwatchers scratching their heads to explain what turned things around today.<<

$Hui.x topping pattern reliably targets 35.01. $Xau.x equivalent as low as 22.50. The bounce today halted at broken supports. Unless you see immediate follow through with closes above 112.xx hui, this near 20% bounce (from today's premarket prices) was a gracious gift to the stranded longs. Appears to be an enormous debacle in the making.
