There was a two-part 'sode , when Archie opens his own Bar ...poor guy drives all his bizness away and starts taking some "happy-meds" that became so popular in that time ...he ends up taking 4-5 prescripts and getting "too happy" LOL... Archie's world and confidence is crumbling and burning , but for a time he's complete shellacked ...comes home at 3am and wants to dance and bed Edith..but decides he's feeling so "chipper" and full of energy it's time to go paint the porch , LOLOL He crashes and burns later on , completely strung out in 5 days , a complete failure .The family comes to his aid and supports and rscues him , but Archie has come to terms with himself....frightening world sometimes... Amazing , the big Druggies had almost everyone in the USA on Prozac & "uppers" ....guess what we've witnessed is just retribution for all that drug-pushing in the past ..
