Apart from the minor fact that there's no imbroglio and nothing to resolve, I think your modest proposal is riveting in its directness and simplicity. Gosh, why didn't I think of that?

I think you ought to make it to the next shareholder's meeting and introduce a resolution saying that the board should oust McNealy. I'm sure it would just absolutely sweep the meeting. It would pass by acclamation, no counts necessary.

You are a shareholder, aren't you?

Of course if you want to keep it out of the limelight until the politickin's done, maybe you could just have lunch with each member of the board and discreetly explain to them about the imbroglio. That would be, how you say, une façon élégante et politique.
