the public is not shorting, it's not written in their genetics. The record level of shorting by the public I have been referring to has been recorded in Barron's Market Laboratory every week since mid February. It actually commenced the last week of December 2001, as the public has shorted above the specialists every week for 28 solid straight weeks. The public is getting more confident shorting with increased veracity as each week passes. Best regards, J.T.
