The downgrade explains curious market action from late Tuesday on - the arrival of this downgrade was no secret.

It was very clear yesterday - especially aftermarket - that something was up.

I'm glad this is it.

AB - I seem to recall downgrades recently ahead of the earnings and for that matter I wouldn't be at all surprised to see further downgrades after the earnings as there is bound to be something to moan about and anything at all, remotely negative is good a for a few $ down tomorrow.

The delays have been a quarter too far for 1X - PCS and all the W-CDMA problems in Europe. So near yet so far!!! Now the consumer seems set to start slowing down and downgrades of anything will knock the stock price.

Actually I think that clearning the air in Germany with the withdrawal of Telephonica is good news since the ones left will have a bit more zest to get going.

We ought to have been riding the sunlight uplands at this time and tonight ought to have been a delight to look forward to but I have that unpleasant queezy feeling about it.

My guess is that Dr J is going to be absolutely ecstatic and Thornley as per usual direct. The overlall will be great and next year even better BUT there will be one little thing somewhere in that report that the analysts will hone in on and that will do it in for tommorrows opening.

Yesterday was great felt fantastic just to see the shorts panic for a change. Will it last...? My guess...no.

Theonly conslation is that I am goin to get a 1X PDA before the end of August and that is now only days away.

Waited a long time for this and its going to be worth the wait.

Best,

L
