K-man, My gut tells me that the Friday night reports (NBR, Ruykeyser) will be talking about cautious optimism in the markets (that is, indices higher on the week) for the first time in a few weeks. The bottom call must have been when Maria B started talking in that Queen's accent (as you and I know, quite different from the Queen's English) about "shotting stocks, which is when you barr-o sha-ares from a lenda," etc. One could almost see her grabbing a production assistant the evening before and telling her, "listen, I gotta know everything about shotting stocks, so's I can unnerstand it."
