The market was falling because the dollar was falling, the dollar rose then the market rose. Dollar watching has become the latest excuse for market action. Everyone seems to assume intervention, but not only is it almost impossible with the size of the market but it almost always has the opposite effect of intent. People were running from the dollar not necessarily running to something else.

BTW trying to guess currency moves has made fools of some very smart people. -g-
