Just keep repeating, "Buy low, sell high, but YOU CAN'T BUY AT THE BOTTOM OR SELL AT THE TOP"! It is easy to feel defeated by prices below our costs. The rational thing is to evaluate assumptions and ascribe responsibility to faulty assumptions and market volatility. I have consciously erred on the side of becoming fully invested. I did not expect the stocks to hit the low end of historical valuations. I was wrong. I will do a post mortem when it is appropriate and determine what the average cost and number of shares would have been if my ranges were perfect.
