Let me tell you my Dad's story. He was born in Moldova (born 1906) 20 years older than my mother, who he met in Exile in Siberia... He could not read or write untill age 14. He came to Odessa at age 14. Communists gave him rigorous education, recognised his phenomenal talents, send him to Germany for Education, by age 28 he became one of the Leading Soviet Scientists....In Odessa Organisation 80% were Jews, hiughly dedicated, zealous communists, that went-out and killed lot of people, mostly Odessa's Jewish Mafia, lead by legendary "Czar" Benny Krick... Jews were killing Jews and many others, mostly without any trial or mock trials... By 1936-37, 90% of Lenin era Checkists (future KGB were short or in Siberia) My Dad (ardent communist) was imprisoned in 1938, by than Absolutely crucial Scientist he ended-up with many like him Jews, Russians, others in GULAG...and when war started in Siberia....What Stalin has done since 1937 is beyond this post...It is true he was equal opportunity Monster, killing Russians, his Native Georgians, Jews, and whoever alike...My Dad understood Regime in GULAG under influence of many Incredible people there and raised me to get-out of Soviet Union....I remember many of his surviving "comrades", Jews and Russians alike who died still believing in the monstrous utopia...sort of something went wrong, but not idea..They just could not overcome and admit that their young lifes were for nothing and worse
