Bill,

For some reason or other the investor has been educated by someone(s) that they should not sell their assets because they have to pay capital gains. Must be the buy and hold education. Enron, WorldCom, etc. are going to get rid of this myth. I guess this bursting bubble will teach a generation about investing and taking profits when it makes sense. Since most of the folks that lived through the 1929 crash and the 30's are gone and the people my age that heard their parents talk about the the stock market crash and great depression did not think it could ever happen again. <g>

Oh, another response I have got from some of my friends is "it is to late to sell". Now I was hearing this late in 2000.

Interesting times.
