Let's be clear here. I don't think Kindleburger has a clue. I have not read him but that is based on what has been posted here.

What we are going thru now has very specific causes, none of which have the least thing to do with the tulip crashes.

But for that person to say that there can't be a bubble because interest rates are down shows complete idiocy.

How does fanniemae loan at %6 and pay interest to its investors at 14.

This is the 64 dollar question.
